Believly is made by Epogia, LLC (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Believly apps and believly.com, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data and Believly shows no ads.

What we collect

  • Account: your email address, display name, a hashed password (or your Apple or Google sign-in identifier) and time zone.
  • Your answers and preferences: the goals you pick, what has been weighing on you, the voice you prefer, your age range, how you heard about Believly, your daily goal, reminder times and theme. Some answers can say something about how you feel; we use them only to personalize your affirmations.
  • Your content: the affirmations you write, the ones written for you, the requests you type when you ask for personal affirmations, and your favorites.
  • Activity: which affirmations you read each day, your practices and the moods you check in with, so we can show your streak and progress.
  • Purchases and support: your subscription status, the feedback you send, and crash reports.

How we use it

We use this information to provide Believly: to build your feed, write personal affirmations when you ask, keep your favorites and streak in sync across devices, send the reminders you set up, enforce plan limits, answer support requests and fix problems. We do not use your content to train AI models.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled on your device as local notifications. We do not send them through a push service.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that process it for us under contract:

  • fal.ai and the language models it routes to, such as Google Gemini, to write personal affirmations. Only when you ask for a set, we send your goals, struggles, preferred voice, the text you typed and the affirmations you already have, for processing only.
  • Supabase (database hosting for your account and affirmations).
  • Resend (account emails such as password reset codes).
  • Apple, Google and RevenueCat (sign-in and in-app subscriptions).
  • Sentry (crash and error reports, without your affirmations or answers).
  • PostHog (anonymous app usage and subscription lifecycle events, without affirmation text, personal requests or account contact details). Website analytics runs only after you choose Allow analytics. You can change that choice on this privacy page.

Marketing measurement

AppsFlyer measures installs, registration, onboarding, paywall visits and checkout, and receives confirmed subscription events from RevenueCat. This includes app and device identifiers, campaign information, technical network information and purchase values. Advertising partners may receive these limited events to measure our campaigns. Your private content, personal answers and account contact details are not included. On iOS, the advertising identifier is available only if you allow the system tracking request; aggregate attribution remains available when you decline. Android advertising-ID collection is disabled. Contact us to exercise your privacy choices.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays in your account until you delete it. Deleting your account (in the app under Profile → Delete account, on believly.com under Account, or as described on believly.com/data-deletion) permanently removes your account, answers, favorites, your own and personalized affirmations, activity and feedback.

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS), the database is not publicly accessible, and passwords are stored as salted hashes.

Children

Believly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

You can access, correct and delete your data at any time in the app or on the web. For any other request, email support@believly.com.

Changes

We will post changes here and update the date above.
